Elmer's BBQ is a 22 year old Tulsa restaurant established in 1983 by Elmer and Georgella Thompson. The business started as a very small restaurant located in the heart of the Brookside district located on Peoria Avenue and 34th Streets. The business outgrew the original location and moved to 4130 South Peoria where it now resides. Elmer Thompson died in the Spring of 2003, and the business was closed. 
Keith Jimerson now owns and manages Elmer's BBQ,and is dedicated to taking it to the "next level." Part of that commitment is continuing to provide the very best in quality and service, and assuring a position that is competitive in the BBQ market today. Keith has and continues to promote a strong belief in fast, friendly, and professional service with the best quality BBQ in a clean environment. He believes the customer is always right and takes time to listen to first hand information he gets from his customers. "People who tell me the truth about what they really think about our food and service is the greatest asset I have." They are what make our products and service better and I appreciate honest, straight forward feedback." |
